My love for shells and Hawaiʻi’s underwater world began a few years ago when I started scuba diving, and I’ve been hooked ever since. Wandering the shores of Oʻahu for hours, searching for ocean treasures, has become my favorite form of therapy. Creating jewelry from these finds allows me to share a little piece of Hawaiʻi with you through unique, handcrafted gifts.

Respect for marine life is at the heart of everything I do. I only collect empty shells, never taking anything that’s alive or occupied. While Hawaiian seashells are undeniably stunning and tempting to pick up, most shells found underwater are still home to their original creators or to hermit crabs, sometimes in ways that are hard to spot. Others, like cone shells, contain venom glands that can be dangerous even to humans.
